Mid-May

For all of my Texas and Oklahoma friends, the weather here this "mud season" is spectacular! It's around 65 degrees and sunny with a gorgeous blue sky. That isn't to say that it won't snow tomorrow, but I sure appreciate the bluebird days in spring. Most of the hiking/biking trails are still filled with snow, so they aren't quite ready yet, but the paved and dirt roads around town are all melted out. It's a good, quiet time to get some mileage in before the full thaw and the crowds descend.
