The McCormick ranch consists of 7 35 acre parcels on the east end of Crested Butte. Its creation helped to preserve 234 acres of open space. The ranch is nestled at the bottom of Mt. Crested Butte, adjacent to the Verzuh annexation subdivision of town. Horses are allowed and the parcels are designated as agricultural for tax purposes. The parcel boasts private fishing rights on the Slate River and wide open views of the valley. The McCormick Ranch Road (trail) is just under 1 mile in length and can be used in conjunction with Tony's Trail to access the Upper Loop from Crested Butte. It is a multiple use access trail, and its use was granted during the Verzuh annexation into town.
There are often a few lots in the McCormick ranch subdivision listed for sale in the MLS and some that are available but not listed. Please give me a call for more information.
