The Foothills subdivision is a proposed subdivision currently in talks with the town of Crested Butte about being annexed into town. It will consist of mixed use housing: single  family homes, condos and townhomes and commercial space. It is located between Butte Avenue and the Crested Butte cemetery on the side of Highway 135 as it travels towards Mt Crested Butte. 

It will have good views of the open space of wetlands and the Lower Loop trail up Peanut Lake Road.
