Crested Butte South (CB South) is a large neighborhood of approximately 800 people, and is about 8 miles from the town of Crested Butte. There tend to be more full-time local families living in CB South than in town proper. The neighborhood has great amenities including a hockey rink, a fire station, tennis courts, a park, a coffee shop, daycare facility, general store and 2 restaurants.
