The Skyland Community is located about 3 miles from the town of Crested Butte. There is a bike path that connects the community with town, and a Nordic ski trail allows access by nordic skis or snowshoes in the winter. The golf course and the Club at Crested Butte is located in Skland. The Club has golf and tennis facilities as well as a fitness center and restaurant. The golf course is a beautiful course in a great location and was designed by Robert Trent Jones, II.
