MERIDIAN LAKE PARK/MERIDIAN LAKE MEADOWS/PRISTINE POINT
The Meridian Lake subdivision encompasses Meridian Lake Park, Meridian Lake Meadows and Pristine Point. This area is accessed by Washington Gulch Road which is found off of Gothic Road between Crested Butte, Colorado and Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado. The subdivision is a short 10 minute drive from the Washington Gulch turnoff. This area has a plethora of opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast. Snowmobiling can be done right on Washington Gulch, there are a great number of bike rides in this area. Backcountry and cross country skiing can be done here too, as well as snowshoeing. In the summer, Meridian Lake Meadows affords a private access for homeowners on the homeowners' trail that connects to the Snodgrass Trail. This is a locals' favorite trail for hiking and biking and is available seasonally thanks to the Allen family that grants the town access until they graze cattle there in the early fall.
Meridian Lake Meadows is part of the Meridian Lake/Pristine Point neighborhood in Mount Crested Butte, Colorado. Some of the lots in this part of the development back onto National Forest. Pristine Point is part of the Meridian Lake/Pristine Point subdivision in Mount Crested Butte Colorado, and is the only part of the subdivision that backs onto Long Lake itself.
